‘Love everything’, cry shoppers as they race to Primark to buy cosy new autumn collection
THE colder weather has officially arrived now that we’re well into October, which means most of us are starting to wear our cosy autumn outfits.
When it starts to feel chilly outside we love pulling out the knitwear, big, thick jackets and cosy winter boots.
Shoppers have been in a frenzy over the latest Primark collection[/caption] It includes gorgeous cosy knitwear for autumn[/caption] And shoppers have left saying that they ‘love everything’[/caption]But that doesn’t mean we can’t still glam up with some silver sparkle, adorable coats and gorgeous dresses.
And Primark’s latest Paula Echevarría range has made sure we can still do exactly that.
The bargain retail giant caused a frenzy among shoppers after showing off the stunning collection on social media.
And many have been left saying they “love everything” that the new collection has to offer.
It includes the Argyle Knit Jumper which can be picked up for £17 in Scottish stores.
Primark bosses have hailed it as being “the pattern for knitwear this season”, adding that it can “effortlessly worn with jeans, midi skirts and tailored trousers”.
Another popular jumper in the range is the £17 ivory Buttoned Cable Knit Jumper which has a classic style, metallic detailing and ribbed trims.
Describing it on the website, bosses said: “Flaunting regal touches, this buttoned cable knit jumper is a great way to blend cosiness with sophisticated styling.
“The cream pullover, which is part of the Primark Presents Paula Echevarría collection, boasts a timeless look with its cable knit design, crew neckline and long raglan sleeves.
“Ribbed trims enhance the piece even further with cosiness, while the soft material seeks to offer optimal warmth.
“Two rows of decorative buttons on the front adds an elegant touch to the pullover, thanks to their metallic gold-tone colourway and their embossed detailing.
“Be sure to add this knitwear to your basket in time for the chilly weather.”
For those looking to dress up this autumn, the £22 Metallic Maxi Dress “scores all the style points” and “skims the figure with elegance”.
Primark bosses suggest finishing off the look with strappy heels and a black clutch bag.
It wouldn’t be autumn weather without a cosy coat, so it’s no surprise that Primark shared its new double-breasted beauty.
The classic mid-length coat can be picked up for £34 and Primark bosses describe it on the website as being a timeless classic.
They wrote: “It’s only natural that you’d find something as classic as this double-breasted coat in the Primark Presents Paula Echevarría collection.
“Defined by its slouchy and relaxed silhouette, this coat offers the perfect blend of casual styling with classic details.
“It features large, notched lapels, convenient angled side pockets, and a timeless double-breasted button fastening.
“Long sleeves with dropped shoulders simply add to the design’s relaxed fit and the mid-length cut offers ample coverage to help keep you warm and cosy.
“The beauty of this outerwear piece is that it can effortlessly be layered over an assortment of other garments, from slim rib-knit midi dresses to chunky knits and casual jeans.”
And, of course, it wouldn’t be autumn without some cosy loungewear.
Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?
JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.
- They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
- They “do very little advertising”
- While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
- And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
