Noughties pop star stuns fans as he makes surprise cameo in new Netflix thriller Missing You

A NOUGHTIES popstar has stunned Netflix viewers after he made a surprise cameo in Missing You.

The brand new thriller – which is an adaption of Harlan Coben‘s novel – landed on the streaming platform on New Year’s Day.

Cold Feet’s James Nesbitt leads the star-studded cast, playing the role of Dominic Calligan.

Also starring in the Netflix series are Rosalind Eleazar, Richard Armitage, Jessica Plummer, Lenny Henry and Ashley Walters.

But as fans got stuck into the action, they were left stunned to see Busted’s Matt Willis make an appearance.

The 41-year-old singer made a short cameo, with his character on a date with Detective Kat Donovan.

Fans flocked to social media to comment on Matt’s scene, with one writing: “This new Harlan Coben show giving me jump scare after jump scare. GK Barry? Matt Willis? wtfffff.”

A second posted: “The Matt Willis cameo in #MissingYou is so fun will probs watch the series but 45 seconds or whatever it was of him was wasted we need him in more stuff.”

“Matt Willis is fine milk I’m sorry,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “I trust none of them apart from Matt Willis. We hooked.”

Speaking about sharing a scene with Matt, Rosalind told Reach her friends would be stunned to find out.

The actress said: “I haven’t even told many of them, but that was quite a spectacular day on set. All the makeup women were like, ‘Oh my god! It’s Matt from Busted.’

“He’s such a lovely man and he’s so funny in that scene. He’s so good and he was a real treat to work with.”

Meanwhile, also starring in the new series is I’m A Celebrity’s GK Barry, who plays ‘Vanessa’.

The social media influencer – real name Grace Keeling – came fifth in the ITV jungle show last month.
