LEGENDARY England rugby coach and Grand Slam winner Jack Rowell has left a huge £5.3million fortune to his family.

Rowell, who died aged 87 in July last year, was a key figure in English rugby, leading the national team from 1994 to 1997.

He guided England to a Five Nations grand slam and a World Cup semi-final in 1995.

Before his tenure with England, Rowell achieved success with Bath Rugby.

He oversaw Bath’s rise as a dominant force in the domestic game during the 1980s and early 1990s.

Outside of rugby, Rowell enjoyed a successful career in the food industry.

He was head of Golden Wonder when they forged ahead with sales of the now iconic Pot Noodle.

Rowell, who lived in Wiltshire, left an estate valued at £5,335,939.

He left cash gifts of £5,000 to each of his grandchildren while the remainder was left to his two sons Dominic and Christian.
