THE finale of Gavin & Stacey has now been watched by more than 19million people, latest figures show.
A huge 12.3million viewed the Christmas Day special live on telly — with seven million more catching up with the sitcom since.
Ratings organisation Barb will on Monday publish the official seven-day viewer ratings data, the industry standard.
That will also include those who watched on tablets, PCs and smartphones.
But the BBC has said 19.3million saw it in the eight days to January 2 — making it one of the most-watched scripted TV shows this century.
Gavin & Stacey’s 2019 special pulled in 17.9million viewers, while Only Fools And Horses got 21.3million on Christmas Day in 2001.
An episode of Corrie in February 2003, featuring Richard Hillman’s murder confession, reached 19.4million.
Gavin & Stacey creators and stars James Corden and Ruth Jones said: “We’re completely overwhelmed… beyond thrilled so many enjoyed watching it this Christmas.”
Robert Wilfort, 47, who plays Stacey’s brother Jason West, has given a signed copy of the final episode’s script to charity.
It will be a raffled for a performing arts group in Chesham, Bucks.
