DEAR DEIDRE: THE 18-year-old daughter of my girlfriend has started flirting with me.
It begins as soon as my partner is out of the room, but I’m scared to say anything in case it destroys my relationship.
I’m 33 and my girlfriend is 38. I previously got on really well with her two kids.
We’ve just decided to get engaged and everyone was so happy for us.
However, since we announced our news, her daughter’s started wearing low-cut tops and bending over in front of me so that I can see everything.

It is likely she’s testing you – but you can handle it.
Don’t respond to the flirting. Avoid being left alone with her and have a firm but kind discussion.
Say something like: “I love your mum very much and would never do anything to hurt her.”
