ITV confirms hit comedy The Dry will return for third series – but there’s a twist
ITV has confirmed its commissioned a third series of hit comedy drama The Dry.
The BAFTA-nominated comedy features Roisin Gallagher will return as recovering alcoholic Shiv Sheridan, with the third series seeing the Sheridan family unearthing a huge family secret that throws everyone off kilter.
The acclaimed comedy will return to the delight of fans, but the third season comes with a twist – as it will be available exclusively on ITVX instead of ITV1.
The second season has already been available on ITV1 from Sunday 12th January, but it’s already been streamed 2 million times since its ITVX launch in 2024.
The first and second series have enjoyed over 8.2 million streams combined.
