Speaking on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast, the 69-year-old told hosts Lauryn and Michael about the various methods she has used as alternative forms of skincare.

While she now uses various forms of peptides and Vitamin C serums, she has other tricks that are a little less conventional.

“Ice is amazing,” she claimed, explaining how she and other models would stick their faces in ice baths back in the day.

Janice also revealed that she currently swears by another unconventional beauty hack.

“I use what Leonardo DiCaprio uses from Dr. Lancer, he has a sheep urine [facial],” she said.

“It’s sheep urine in a tube, it’s something to do with the biogenetic make up of your skin.”

When asked by the podcast hosts if this was a safe, Janice joked: “I’m still kicking.”

She also addressed her open approach to talking about the plastic surgery she has had done.

“I’m not afraid, I own it,” the supermodel said as she discussed the content of her book Everything About Me Is Fake, I’m Perfect.

And while she recommended her various forms of anti-ageing techniques, Janice revealed that it is important to balance everything with “great food.”

However, she also advised listeners to be careful over-eating or over-drinking.

And as well as his sheep urine facial, Janice revealed that she “lives for Dr Lancer’s Vitamin C.”

The skincare expert has derived a unique three-step anti-ageing regimen.

Should you apply vitamin C to your skin?

Topical vitamin C has several benefits for the skin including hydrating, and reducing redness, and hyperpigmentation.

According to Healthline, it may also help to promote collagen production and reduce the appearance of sun damage.

Research shows that it is safe for most skin types but may cause irritation in concentrations above 20%.

Experts recommend doing a patch test on a small skin area and waiting 24 hours to see if there are side effects before applying it to your face.

Discontinue topical use of vitamin C if you experience rashes, redness, or hives.

“This foundational system promotes cell turnover for younger-looking, radiant skin,” the professional said.

For the first step, the doctor recommends “polishing” your complexion.

“Start with Polish to clear debris and congestion to allow active ingredients to work more effectively,” he advised.

Next, cleanse your face with a “light-foaming cleansers to gently remove impurities for fresh, healthy-looking skin.”

Finally, “nourish” your face to give “the skin essential hydration for a glowing, radiant complexion.”
