Love Islander DROPS OUT of All Stars talks and villa return after landing Towie star boyfriend
LOVE Island star Matilda Draper has revealed she dropped out of All Stars talks after bagging herself a Towie star boyfriend.
Matilda, 24, confirmed she was dating Essex favourite Roman Hackett, 22, last month after setting tongues wagging with some social media clues.
Unfortunately, her latest union means she can’t take part in the upcoming Love Island spin-off.
Speaking to Gogglebox star Joe Baggs on his Not My Bagg podcast, Matilda explained how she had initially entered discussions with bosses.
But, after getting it on with Roman, she decided not to take part.
Speaking alongside his sister, Jess Leigh-Anne, the influencer said: “I was speaking to them before, before I got with Ro and then as soon as I got with Ro, I just thought, ‘There’s no point.’
“I had the best time of my whole entire life. Do you know what I mean? I had the best time ever. It was literally like a six week holiday. I always had my feet up, I loved life. It was funny.
“I don’t think you realise how much you miss it until you miss it. Because some days, I don’t know, some days I’m like, ‘No I’d never,’ but then I’m like, ‘Oh, get me back in there.’
“When I watch it, back it’s just such a special feeling cos you would never do that otherwise.
“But All Stars is so different. It would never be the same.”
The former recruitment consultant shot to fame just last year when she took part in series 11 of Love Island – alongside Jess.
She proved hugely popular with viewers – who were then left stunned after she was accused of dumping sweet seller Sean Stone by text shortly after filming wrapped.
Matilda recently confirmed her romance with Roman after she was captured in a recent embrace with the model.
The Sun then revealed Matilda is now tipped for a spot on Towie making her the seventh Love Island alum to join the ITVBe series.
An insider said: “Towie always want the cast to bring their real love lives on screen.
“Love Island proved Matilda’s not shy of getting into drama.
“Roman’s really into her, so when they start filming the new series, bosses are hoping she’ll make an appearance.”
Matilda isn’t the only show star to pull out of the All Stars series.
This week, The Sun revealed Megan Barton-Hanson, 30, had been in talks to return as a potential bombshell.
But, since she’s just started seeing someone, she decided not to take discussions any further.
