VISITORS can call an idyllic coastal Cornish home which featured on a hit ITV drama their home for a week for £500 per person.
With the crystal clear blue seas and white sandy beaches around it, Sand Dunes on Cornwall’s North coast could easily be mistaken for a tropical haven in the Bahamas.

The stunning property, neatly nestled between Padstow and Newquay, can be rented out for holidaymakers for £5,000-plus a week, The Mail on Sunday reported.
The area boasts an array of star-studded locals, with actress Cate Blanchett, tough guy Jason Statham and Coldplay star Chris Martin all owning homes in Mawgan Porth.
ITV rented out the gorgeous home from previous owner Lebanese businessman Marzouk al-Bader, 58 at the end of 2023.
Financier al-Bader reportedly bagged £4million when he sold the coastal home in December.
“I wanted not just to build a house, but I wanted everything to be from Cornwall: the tradesman, the architect, the materials,” he said.
Sand Dunes is spread over three buildings and offers floor to ceiling windows with show stopping views of the cliffs.
It also comes complete with a pool house with a whirlpool bath, a gym, a 14 person eating area with an indoor wood-fired pizza oven and a sunken lounge facing a log fire.
The home has bagged a handful of gongs for its architectural design, including from RIBA – the Royal Institute of British Architects.
HOUSE ABOUT IT
In other property news, house hunters were left shocked at an unexpected surprise in the bathroom of an £875,000 Welsh home – a giant high heel bathtub.
The quaint link detached cottage is located in the picturesque walled market town of Conwy.
Built in 1441, the Grade II listed four-bedroom, three-bathroom property is believed to be one of the only two medieval buildings within the town walls.
But believe it or not, that’s not the most interesting part about this £875,000 home, as reported by Luxury Property News.
Stepping inside, each room is adorned with original features and the interior has largely stuck to its 15th century-esque design.
In the main bathroom, however, there’s a huge surprise waiting.
No, it’s not a walk-in shower or a luxurious marble bathtub, but one shaped like a giant high heel.
Covered in purple and pink sequins, with a matching pink bow wrapped around the centre, it’s a shoo-in to provide the perfect soak.
And to give yourself a wakeup boost in the morning, splash your face with some cold water from the coffee cup shaped sink.
It’s truly a stark contrast from the rest of the home, which has left people shocked online, with some calling it “grotesque.”
Taking to Reddit, users have shared their reactions.
“I was not expecting that,” one person said.
Another user added: “Me scrolling through pics – like it, nice, oh yes, could see me here, love that bed, yes, nice, what the actual f***?” [sic]
