Popeyes reveals major menu change as chain slashes meals to £1.99 & brings back fan favourite – you’ll have to be quick

FRIED chicken fans will be thrilled to hear about a major change to the Popeyes menu – with prices slashed to as little as £1.99.

The Louisiana-founded chicken shop is offering “more bang for your cluck” deals with its new Savin’ Menu.

If you’re feeling pecking you can take home a Classic or Spicy Wrap meal with regular Fries and a regular drink for just £5.

This is a tasty 30 per cent off the usual price, saving customers £1.99.

The price of 11 menu classics have also dropped, including the Mac and Cheese which is now £3.50.

You can also put three Wings with Fries in your basket for £3.49 or two wings for just £1.99.

What’s more, the fan-favourite Buffalo Ranch Sandwich is making a miraculous return for the start of the new year.

The crispy chicken sandwich features a Shatter Crunchin’ fillet marinated in Popeyes’ recognisable Louisiana herbs and spices.

It comes with the fan-favourite tangy Buffalo sauce and cool Ranch all tucked in a warm brioche bun.

The Buffalo Ranch Sandwich is only on the menu until January 31 so Buffalo Ranch ravers will have to get their fix quick.

Popeyes was established in 1972 and is now one of the largest chicken restaurants in the world, offering a range of bargains in the last year.

Tom Crowley, CEO of Popeyes UK said: “Every day we’re exploring how we can give our fans the taste of our famous Shatter-Crunchin’ fried chicken at the best price.

“With the complete refresh and relaunch of our Savin’ Menu, we’re hoping even more people can enjoy the taste of Popeyes to brighten the January blues, and get into the Louisianan spirit without breaking the bank.”

The super Savin’ Menu will be available in all restaurants from January 7 to tackle the post-holiday slump.
