A ROGUE pharmacist nicked supplies of weight loss wonder drug Ozempic from his dispensary’s stock room and flogged it on the black market.
Akshay Sennik, 30, stole pens of the fat-busting slimmer from New Cross Pharmacy in Lewisham, South East London between September 2023 and last March.

The pharmaceutical technician and self-described fashion lover pleaded guilty to one count of theft by an employee last November at Bexley magistrates’ court.
The wannabe influencer, who has 6,000 Instagram followers, faces up to two years in prison for the scam.
He was shopped to the Met Police by staff at the pharmacy who discovered “shrinkage” in the drug’s stockpile only months after it was introduced for weight loss in the UK.
Prosecutors discontinued a separate charge for handling a stolen bank card.
Ozempic, originally made to treat type two diabetes, is only available in Britain with a prescription.
It was introduced for morbidly obese patients in September 2023 after multiple successful trials around the world showed it suppressed the appetites of tubby grub-scoffers.
Even ex-PM Boris Johnson confessed he’d given the jabs a go in a bid to shift weight.
The case is believed to be the first time anyone has been charged with stealing Ozempic.
Each shot can be worth as much as £175 but prosecutors have not yet put a value on Sennik’s theft.
It is understood that Sennik, who also uses the name Ash, will dispute how much he stole and how long his double-dealing lasted.
But both sides are said to be likely to come to an agreement before he is sentenced on April 3.
Sennik previously boasted of his pride in working in healthcare, writing online: “Working on the frontline is a difficult task but it’s worth it.”
His ex-GP father and medical secretary mum declined to comment on the case at their family home in leafy Chislehurst, South East London.
