I quit Botox for an 8p Amazon cure that smooths your wrinkles overnight – it’s a total game-changer
WE all want to look youthful without putting in too much effort.
With so many lotions, potions, and pricey cosmetic treatments out there, it can be hard to know what actually works.
But one skin-fluencer has revealed that you don’t need to splurge on expensive products to reduce fine lines.
In fact, she’s swapped Botox for a much more affordable option that you can easily pick up on Amazon.
Arielle Lorre was interviewed by Eliz Endres on The Wellness Podcast where the pair discussed all things “Botox” and “natural alternatives.”
Arielle revealed that rather than using anti-wrinkle injections, she now uses face tape.
A pack, which includes 60 pieces of facial tape can be bought from Amazon for £4.99 which makes it 8p per tape.
The anti-wrinkle tapes are applied overnight and stuck to areas with sagging and wrinkles on the face.
It aims to smooth out wrinkles on the eyes, forehead, and mouth by lifting the skin.
It also comes with face neck tape which can enhance the smoothness of your face and make your skin look radiant and refreshed.
Speaking on the podcast directly to Eliz Arielle, who appears to have glowing wrinkle free skin, says: “Face taping is my jam.”
She continues: “If you had told me 14 months ago that I would be not doing Botox and would be taping my face I would be like, you’re f***ing out of your mind. Absolutely not.
“I use this Japanese face tape and my routine is so simple.
“I do three strips vertically on my forehead and then one diagonal next to each eye because again I sleep and it scrunches up that area. And that’s it.
“I do it two or three times a week at night. It takes two minutes.
“I put it on over the skincare and I wake up and things are smooth. It’s pretty crazy.”
The video, which was shared on TikTok, gained a lot of attention with many people rushing to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One beauty fan praised her technique and wrote: “Same. I’m 53 and see results daily. I use scar tape.

A second commented: “Love this, I’ve switched to face taping as well.
“I swear by it, I see absolute changes on my face and haven’t gotten botox for over three years.”
Whilst a third added: “Love face and mouth taping! Mouth tape makes my lips look done.”
How much does Botox cost?
BOTOX and anti-wrinkle injections are one of the most popular cosmetic treatments available today.
Botox injections work by weakening or paralyzing certain muscles or by blocking certain nerves.
The effects last about three to twelve months, depending on what you are treating.
The NHS website estimates each botulinum toxin injection costs £150-£350 per session.
The price varies depending on how much is used per session, they add.
Botox prices fluctuate depending on where you go to get it done and the number of areas treated.
Some companies offer one area for around the £200 mark, and most offer packages if you want to add more areas to your treatment.
It is worth doing your research before you undergo the treatment – and remember that going ‘cheap’ isn’t always a good idea.
