Suicide Squad finally reveals the secret behind Kill the Justice League’s story and fans are furious

SUICIDE Squad: Kill the Justice League was set to be one of the biggest releases of 2024, and ended up as one of the biggest flops.

However, Suicide Squad took the live-service route, meaning that the story hadn’t yet finished when the game was released.

A year later, the ending to the story has finally been revealed, and fans are even more furious than when they first played it.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, as the name suggests, was about the Suicide Squad hunting down and exterminating the Justice League.

Throughout a number of missions you’ll destroy Superman, Green Lantern and The Flash before Harley Quinn shoots Batman at point blank range.

DC fans hated seeing their heroes fall one by one, but they might hate the new ending even more.

In a new twist in the game’s final cutscene it was revealed that the Justice League that died throughout the course of the game were actually clones.

People thought that the beloved characters would be brought back via the DC multiverse, but Rocksteady seems to have taken the easy route.

The ending to the game’s fourth season suggests that this was Batman’s plan all along, and that he created the clones to distract Brainiac from the real heroes.

The super villain is then defeated by the real Superman and Batman in his lair, and all of the victims are released from their mind control.

One member of the Justice League doesn’t make it through the game, as the real Wonder Woman, who was not cloned, dies fighting the Superman clone in the original campaign.

The ending is shown in a comic book style, suggesting that after the latest round of layoffs there weren’t enough resources to fully animate and produce a cutscene for the ending.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League suddenly began dropping drastically in price.

Steam users could grab Suicide Squad for 95% off, and it was recently added to PS Plus.
