I’m Molly-Mae’s dentist – the subtle tweak that gave her the camera-ready smile, and it didn’t involve any whitening
IT’S fair to say that the past few months have not been easy for Molly-Mae Hague.
Following a difficult split with Tommy Fury, who recently opened up about his battles with alcohol, 2024 was a turbulent one for the couple.
Molly-Mae’s dentist has revealed the treatment she had to secure her superstar smile[/caption]Nevertheless, 25-year-old Molly-Mae manages to keep smiling through the hardships as seen in her new fly-on-the-wall documentary Behind It All.
And prior to the cameras rolling, the reality star visited Rüh Dental in Manchester for a procedure known as edge bonding to achieve her winning beam, which will last for years.
Edge bonding is a straightforward procedure designed to deliver natural results, improve smiles, and preserve a patient’s own teeth.
It can positively transform a person’s look and restore their confidence for as little as £250.
At the time of her treatment, Molly-Mae told fans on her popular vlog that the dentistry was part of a much-needed glow-up.
“I’m absolutely over the moon with them. I already feel so much more confident in my smile,” she said.
“I was sceptical about talking about cosmetic work done on my teeth because I’ve shared the journey of undoing all that sort of cosmetic work,” she added.
“But at the end of the day, I need to feel confident. I was watching videos back and feeling so, so self-conscious about how my teeth looked. I would never smile in pictures anymore.”
Leading dentist Dr. Billal Arshad, who perfected Molly’s smile, explained:
“Edge bonding is a simple but effective treatment where we use a tiny amount of resin to refine the edges of a tooth.
“It’s a painless procedure that gives a natural look and lasts up to seven years without damaging the patient’s own teeth.
“In Molly’s case, I delicately made minute improvements to her front teeth to enhance their form and create an overall straighter appearance.”
And Molly-Mae has plenty of excuses to show off her smile after it was revealed her new reality show had hit number one on Amazon Prime.
In Behind It All, Molly-Mae even hinted at her low-key wedding plans, saying: “If I was planning my perfect wedding now, it would be a vicar comes to my house while Harry Potter is on in the background.
“Some snacks on the table and the vicar just marries us while we’re sat on the sofa in our pyjamas, then get a bath and an early night.”
A tearful Molly-Mae addressed the breakdown of their relationship in Behind It All this week.
Molly-Mae revealed: “He wanted to have a family life but also have the life of a 25-year-old boy with no responsibilities and the two don’t go hand in hand.”
She added: “He’s never had an alcohol problem, it’s just that alcohol caused problems for us.
“It got to a point where I wasn’t really looking forward to anything because alcohol affected it so much.”
Molly-Mae and Tommy welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2023.
Six months later, they got engaged in a romantic proposal – and had planned to marry this year.
Timeline of Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury's split
After five years together, Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury split up in August 2024.
At around 4pm on Wednesday, August 14, Molly-Mae and Tommy suffer an explosive showdown and Molly-Mae announces her split from fiancé Tommy Fury, saying ‘ I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way’.
An hour later Tommy shares a separate and brief statement confirming they have parted ways, and thanks Molly-Mae for making him ‘a dad’.
The real reason they split emerges and on Thursday, August 15 The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae learned Tommy had cheated on her – leading to an explosive showdown.
On Saturday, August 17, The Sun reveals how Molly-Mae had been sent an upsetting video showing Tommy kissing a girl in a nightclub in North Macedonia on a lads holiday.
Exactly one week after the split a Danish woman accused of getting close to Tommy speaks to The Sun. On Wednesday, August 21, she denies she is the girl who kissed Tommy.
Molly-Mae admitted that while she didn’t want to break up with her fiancée, she had to.
She told sister Zoe: “I’m not breaking up with him because I don’t love him anymore, I’m breaking up with him because he hasn’t given me a single other choice.”
Continuing, she said: “Even over the last year I’ve been so much more aware of things that have been going on, that I was so naive to for so long and I still don’t think I know the full picture.”
Rumours that Molly-Mae reunited with Tommy privately have swirled since they were caught kissing on New Year’s Eve at a party.
Days later the couple – who share daughter Bambi – met up to watch horror movie Nosferatu at a cinema in Altrincham, Greater Manchester.
They were spotted sharing nachos and a drink before leaving at midnight to return to Molly’s £4m Cheshire home.
