HAVE you ever found yourself searching for places to go on a rainy weekend?
Well, we’ve rounded up the seven best indoor attractions to keep everyone entertained from gaming to mini golf and VR immersive experiences.
Gravity Max
Gravity Max provides hours of endless fun thanks to their e-karting race tracks.
The e-karting track is a whopping 385 metres long and is part of London‘s largest multi-level e-karting experience.
Nitro-Karts, powered by electricity, are the main event and are the quickest karts around.
There’s also an impressive VR Arena where you can battle zombies, aliens or take your friends and play a thrilling game of laser tag.
They also have an urban golf experience with 9-hole challenges, arcade rooms, interactive dance floors and digital dart boards.
The Stratford arcade is 67,000 square feet and three floors of fun, but there are also locations in Wandsworth, Liverpool and Castleford.
You might need more than a day to get through all the activities! But with their Max3 Pass, you can do three activities for £27.95.
Gamebox
Gamebox is the one for gaming fans.
They’ve got their own (safer) versions of Squid Game, Floor is Lava, even Escape AI which is the world’s first immersive escape room.
It’s a great distraction for children too with games like Paw Patrol and Angry Birds.
Or for adults, they’ve got the After Work bundle which is an hour of immersive games, one of which is based on Netflix’s Black Mirror.
It comes highly rated on TripAdvisor with thousands of five star reviews and on visitors described it as “fast paced” with a “retro feel”.
You can find venues all around the country, from Liverpool, to Yorkshire, Essex, Manchester and London.
Tickets for the Gamebox cost from £15 depending on the venue and games.
TeamSport Warrington track
The TeamSport go-karting track in Warrington is the UK’s biggest indoor track at 1000 metres.
There are 22 corners and a Monaco-style tunnel split over three levels, so it’s a challenge whether you’re a pro-driver or an amateur behind the wheel.
Their e-karts hit speeds of 40mph and the average lap time is just over a minute – if you manage to shave time off there’s a chance you’ll appear on the leaderboard.
Located close to Warrington Bank Quay station, there is plenty of free parking available.
It’s possible to go on your own, in a small group, with kids, as a family and stag and hen groups.

Arcade Club
Arcade Club is the perfect place for gaming enthusiasts where you can return to the golden age of gaming with these classics.
From pinball machines to the classic Astro Blaster and Pac-Man it’s the best place for a bit of pixel nostalgia.
The arcades can be found in Blackpool, Leeds and Bury – which is the biggest venue boasting four floors and over 400 classic and modern games.
You can spend hours in Arcade Club, as they also have food and drink on site, offering pizzas, burgers, hot dogs and nachos at their restaurants.
Adult tickets are £18 with children under 16 being able to get their game on for £10.
Junk Yard Golf Club
For fans of the craziest of golf, head to one of the putting venues of Junk Yard Golf Club which all over the country
The venues are known for their uniquely designed courses which are all made from reclaimed items.
The very creative golf course themes go from Circus Fear-Ground to Polluted Paradise, 90s Garage Scrapyard and Basement Horror – as listed on their website.
The Junkyard Golf Club in Oxford is ranked number one on TripAdvisor for nightlife, with guests describing it as a “funky grand old time”.
The Junkyard Golf Club also offer drinks including cocktails and snacks.
Prices range from £12 upwards depending on golf courses and venues.
AirHop
This trampoline park chain has 26 parks all across the UK from Aberdeen down to Guildford.
The biggest AirHop is in Bristol; it has 140 interconnected trampolines spanning the floor and walls.
There’s also a chance to play games, from obstacle courses and wipe-out zones to basketball, and to go down the AirSlides, which launch you from a height onto air bags.
Some AirHops offer ‘After Dark’ sessions where the park becomes more of a club with state-of-the-art light and sound systems .
