Sky drops cost of 43-inch TV, Netflix and Discovery+ bundle to £27p/m

SKY has slashed the price of its Sky Glass bundle this January.

You can get the streaming TV with Netflix and Discovery+ for just £27 per month, but time is ticking.

Sky often rolls out price cuts to attract new customers, and this month, its streaming TV is getting the special treatment.

You can now grab the 43-inch Sky Glass for just £27 per month, reduced from the usual £29.

This amounts to a tidy saving of £96 over the 48-month loan period, which is not to be sniffed at.

If you’re in the market for a new TV, Sky’s offerings may not be your first port of call, but they’re definitely worth considering.

The beauty of Sky Glass lies in its all-in-one design, with Sky TV built-in and a host of premium features.

These TVs come with Quantum Dot technology and six built-in speakers, including 360-degree Dolby Atmos for that home cinema feel.

You’ll also have all your streaming apps in one place, with Netflix, iPlayer, ITV, and Disney+ among those just a click away.

On top of that, the package includes Sky’s Essential TV package with over 100 channels.

This includes Sky Atlantic, which is home to hits like Eddie Redmayne’s ‘The Day of the Jackal’ and Colin Farrell in ‘The Penguin.’

At no extra cost, you’ll also get Netflix with Ads and a Discovery+ plan, giving you access to libraries full of additional content.

There’s a £20 upfront fee to consider, but with all the tech you’re getting, it remains a bargain.

It’s won over Sky shoppers, with one Glass user writing: ‘Sky Glass has been a game-changer in our home.’

While another added: ‘Sky Glass just makes sense and I believe this is the way of the future that most TV service providers will be going.

‘For the first integration of its kind, Sky has done a great job.’

Our very own Tech & Science Editor, Sean Keach, tested out the streaming TV in his Sky Glass review.

He echoed the thoughts of shoppers, saying the Glass ‘makes life easy by wrapping a service and the machine you use to watch it into a single package.’

If a 43-inch model doesn’t quite cut it, you can also opt for the 55-inch set from £32/month, or go all out on the 65-inch from £37.

This deal is running until February 12, but the way this month has flown by, I would lock in these savings sooner rather than later.
