Primark shopper goes viral & slammed as ‘vile’ for smearing dog POO on shop floor – with many stunned by the ‘audacity’

A WOMAN has gone viral and has been slammed for her ‘vile’ behaviour after her dog pooed in the middle of a Primark store.

In a clip that has now racked up almost one million views on social media, the dog owner was seen kneeling on the floor whilst wearing a blue poo bag over her hand.

With clothes draped over her shoulder and her pet on a lead, the brunette woman attempted to pick up three large piles of her dog’s mess.

But as the bargain hunter, who looked chic in a navy coat, strived to pick up her dog’s mess, it simply resulted in three large smears left on the shop floor.

Shoppers were seen walking past the woman and her pooch, avoiding and narrowly missing the animal’s stool.

A bystander named Elaine Leydon recorded the scene and shared the clip online, leaving many stunned.

Alongside the now viral video, Elaine wrote ‘When your dog takes a poo in Primark’ alongside the cheeky monkey emoji.

Clearly stunned by the shocking situation, the content creator, who is from Ireland, zoomed in on the dog’s faeces and questioned: Why do people bring their dogs into shops?”

Elaine then confirmed that she captured the footage whilst on holiday in Milan, Italy.

Later in the short video, the dog owner was seen holding the full poo bag, whilst fellow Primark shoppers gathered in shock.

Eventually, a Primark employee got involved and stood just centimetres away from the dog’s mess, to ensure it wasn’t spread or didn’t cause any accidents.

Elaine noticed that the pooch, which appeared to be a Goldendoodle, even appeared to be somewhat red-faced by the public blunder, as she wrote: ‘He looks embarrassed.’

The viral TikTok clip, which was shared under the username @elcreate, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed over 6,300 likes and more than 6,000 shares.

Many were shocked at ‘the audacity’ of the owner and eagerly flocked to the comments to express their disgust.

One person said: “As a dog owner, I don’t get this new thing of taking your dog EVERYWHERE! Why do people feel so entitled to take them into shops & restaurants?”

It’s unfair, the shop assistants have to clean that now

Another added: “Vile, how thick can a person be?”

A third commented: “It’s unfair, the shop assistants have to clean that now.”

Someone else chimed in: “Honestly my dogs are my life, I love them to pieces, but it’s so unhygienic taking them in shops! I honestly don’t think it should be allowed unless they are a guide/therapy dog.”

Ria Mitchell, who once admitted to spending £8,000 in Primark in a just one year has fallen out of love with the iconic high street retailer.

She told Fabulous why she no longer visits her local store every Saturday.

“I never go there,” says the 28-year-old from Guildford, Surrey.

“It’s mad charging £50 for a coat. Primark shoppers want bargains.

“They don’t want to be charged £50 for a coat or a fancy cardigan. That was always the best thing about it.

“But now it’s so expensive, why would I go there?

“Just look at pictures of my grey coat from three years ago — it was £25. And look now — charging £50 for a coat is silly. Pri-flation is real.”

Primark’s ethos has always been affordability, from essentials to standout pieces.

The reason it has continued to buck the trend for failing high street stores is because it has kept its prices low.

Twenty years ago, you could always get an entire outfit there for under £30. Fast-forward to now, and we’re in the midst of a cost-of-living crisis and are still after the same thing. In fact, we want more.

Meanwhile, a fifth questioned: “Isn’t Primark not dog friendly? I’ve never seen dogs in any Primark at all.”

To this, the content creator replied and confirmed: “I haven’t either, this was in Milan.”

Not only this, but another user wondered: “Is she not going to wipe and disinfect the floor?”

In response, Elaine explained: “No she didn’t have anything.”

But amongst the shock, one user attempted to sympathise with the pet owner and wrote: “It’s the new thing now with people bringing dogs into shops there called emotional support dogs.”

But to this, Elaine claimed: “I don’t think this was an emotional support dog”.
