Charli XCX fans say X-rated Grammys performance is ‘best in show’s history’ – but critics blast the star’s ‘lip-syncing’
CHARLI XCX fans are praising her X-rated Grammys performance as the ‘best’ in the show’s history while others are criticizing the star for allegedly lip syncing.
The brat singer threw a massive party on the Grammys stage as she danced with friends Alex Consani and Julia Fox who joined her for the raunchy number.

She stayed covered up with sunglasses throughout the duration of the set and managed to stay on the pop star’s face as she was whipping her head around.
The British songwriter started her performance outside the venue as she exited a black SUV with her mic already in hand.
She then walked down a concrete ramp joined by her pals Alex Consani and Julia Fox – who is celebrating her 35th birthday today.
The pop sensation was surrounded by a group of people as if they were dancing at a club and she continued to sing as she was jumping up and down.
She then moved inside, where she stripped off her black fur coat to be in just the denim bikini.
The Boom Clap singer had many provocative shots throughout the performance – including a closeup of her grabbing and shaking her butt.
At one point, she also could be seen patting her private body parts and showing off proactive dance moves as the other performers on stage grinded against each other.

“Charli you’ve set the bar so high you’re so much the girl you think you are,” the fan continued.
“WE JUST WITNESSED THE BEST GRAMMY PERFORMANCE IN HISTORY, CHARLI XCX YOU’RE THE MUSIC INDUSTRY,” another exclaimed.
“THAT PERFORMANCE WAS INCREDIBLE AND SO CATHARTIC FOR SO MANY REASONS…. THIS IS FOR EVERY CHARLI PROJECT NOT NOMINATED … THEY FINALLY CAUGHT UP,” a third wrote.
“Charli xcx performing the house down and putting Alex Consani on primetime television…the levels of legendaric are far too much,” one more mentioned.
Viewers at home weren’t the only ones entertained – as nearly everyone in the venue was on their feet dancing, including Billie Eilish – who appeared to love the show as she bopped along.
Despite the praise, some critics claim that the closing performance was a “disappointment” due to Charli allegedly lip syncing.
