Love Island’s Scott reveals real reason behind All Stars most explosive row ever
LOVE Island star Scott Thomas has opened up on the catalyst for the show’s most explosive row ever.
Fans of the ITV2 dating show were left shocked when they saw the 36-year-old come to blows with co-star Luca Bish on All Stars.
During the programme’s Vegas Night, the duo had a furious row with Scott squaring up to Luca after comments made about his romance with Tina Stinnes.
Tensions had already been simmering after Luca chose to kiss Scott during a challenge when asked to kiss the Islander who was looking for fame from their time on the show.
Scott, who quit the villa last week, has now spoken to former contestants Indiyah Polack and Amy Hart on The Morning After podcast about the real reason that saw the boys come to blows.
The Manchester lad told the programme: “Me and Luca, I don’t think you saw it, he was bantering me non stop every day until the point the guys and girls were like ‘why don’t you say anything why are you taking it’?
“I can’t really do like, nice banter – you know when you just got a sense that he can give so much banter but he’s quite a little fragile soul as well.
“I was like I don’t wanna give him too much banter because I knew I might get a big bite back.
“I know the Vegas night was a big moment – that was just one snapshot of like a week of like which kind of escalated and escalated.”
Scott then added that he and Luca managed to squash the feud despite it being a “challenging relationship”.
He said: “But I love Luca. I’ve got a soft spot for him. He is like a little brother, but yeah, it was just such a challenging relationship because we didn’t know each other’s boundaries as brothers you know each other’s boundaries.
“So I think the Vegas night kind of taught us both a lesson on where to go with each other and we just kind of squashed it, but I’ve got so much love for him.
“He’s got a big heart, I can’t wait to link up with him in the real world.”
Tensions between the boys initially flared when Scott admitted he wanted to ask Luca’s partner Grace Jackson a question during truth or dare but then backed out and refused to comment on what it was that he wanted to say.
Luca instantly became annoyed and said: “Say it. If you want to go there, go there?” .
Scott insisted:“Bro I’m being respectful to you.”
The group tried to continue playing after the first row, but things take a turn for the worst when Luca was dared to kiss who is in here for fame.
He kissed Scott on the cheek and said he thinks he wants to get far in the villa, adding “that’s why you’re with Tina and you’re not feeling it now”.
Tina looked horrified and asked for someone to explain – as she learnt the truth she walked away crying.
