Sky customers unlock TWO new channels after surprise closures – exact numbers to type in to find special February treats
SKY is shaking up its selection of channels this week – and no surprise: there’s a Valentine’s theme.
The TV giant is rolling out two romantic channels, both of which will be live before February 14.
However, the bad news is that it means two other channels are temporarily closing down.
The update was revealed in a special memo posted to Sky‘s forums, so it’s easy for regular telly fans to miss.
Sky’s first channel swap has already happened with a quiet update on Monday, February 3.
The old Sky Feel Good channel has been rebranded to Sky Valentine.
It’ll be exclusively showcasing romantic content to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
You’ll find Sky Valentine on channel 302 – that’s the same for satellite, Sky Glass, and Sky Stream.
Then on Saturday, February 8, Sky Cinema Comedy will be rebranded.
It’ll be temporarily switched to Sky Bridget Jones. You can probably guess what’ll be on there.
It’s a great time for the channel’s launch, coming days before Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy releases in UK cinemas.
The fourth movie in the Bridget Jones series will be out on Thursday, February 13, and stars Renée Zellweger, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, and Leo Woodall.
You’ll be able to watch Sky Bridget Jones on channel 308, again the same number across satellite, Sky Glass, and Sky Stream.

The Valentine’s Day swaps come just days after a major Sky channel shake-up.
Two popular channels were removed from the platform on February 28.
Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) closed down both Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 after 35 years of broadcasting.
Another change for Sky customers linked to WBD is the downgrading of Discovery+.
Millions of Sky customers can currently claim the Discovery+ Standard tier as a freebie from their membership.
But that plan is being discontinued by WBD, so Sky customers will instead be downgraded to Discovery+ Basic.
Discovery+ Standard previously offered sports content (including Eurosport) – but Discovery+ doesn’t offer any sports channels or content.

Find your lost TV remote

Save lost recordings
Have you ever deleted something you’d recorded on Sky, only to regret it later?
Or maybe someone in your family removed something without telling you – sparking a massive row.
Don’t panic: you can get them back.
Just go to Recordings > Manage > Deleted and then simply hit Undelete on the item that you want to resurrect.
If you do that, it’ll return to your Recordings section as good as new.

That’ll cost you £30.99 a month as part of the Discovery+ Premium plan.
