Aldi, renowned for its no-frills approach and reputation for delivering high-quality products at low prices, has once again impressed customers with this latest offering.

Carla Nokes took to TikTok to share her excitement over the discovery, showcasing her impressive find and marvelling at its unbelievable price.

Speaking to the camera from her local Aldi store, she says: “So I’m not sure if this is a genuine mistake or this is a marketing tactic but Aldi are selling Rosé at £1.99. It is unbelievable.

“I just couldn’t believe it. I thought there’s got to be a mistake here.

“So I took one to the checkout and then sipped it instantly as soon as I bought it because I own it and I just couldn’t believe it. It tastes so nice.

“It’s like two times better than Echo Falls but one third of the price.

You need to get yourself down there and get in while you can. I’ve just seen that you can only buy a maximum of 10.

“I think I ended up buying 12. So get down there and get yours ASAP.”

The Big Picture California White Zinfandel 75cl is currently priced at £3.99, although “prices may vary.”

In Carla’s local Aldi store, however, it was available at the bargain price of just £1.99.

The description of the wine on Aldi’s website highlights its appeal: “Aromas and flavours of fresh strawberries and raspberries mingle with hints of tropical fruits, leading onto a creamy, sweet balance.”

Aldi also suggests it’s “delicious when served chilled alongside a barbecue with friends,” making it the perfect addition to any social gathering.

We previously revealed how Boo baskets dominated TikTok during Halloween, and now “Be Mine Baskets” are the latest trend sweeping the internet as Valentine’s Day approaches.

Whether you’re in a relationship, celebrating Galentine’s, or simply want to show someone you care, Aldi has embraced the craze and is helping shoppers create their own heartfelt hampers – without stretching their budget.

Sharing their take on the trend via their Instagram page, Aldi Special Buys UK revealed a step-by-step guide to assembling the perfect Valentine’s hamper.

If you were to recreate their version using the same products, it would cost just £23.

However, if you’re looking to spend less, you can use their idea as inspiration to mix and match items while browsing the aisles for something more personalised.

In the caption accompanying the video, Aldi described the thoughtful creation as their version of a “Valentine’s Be Mine Basket,” cheekily hinting, “This is a hint.”
