Woman raises eyebrows in crop top & TRAINERS for wedding at luxury resort as ‘they look like they’re going clubbing’
WEDDINGS are often seen as the perfect occasion to dress to impress and showcase your most glamorous outfits.
While opting out of a dress code can be a relief for some guests, it can also be a risky move for the bride and groom.
One couple recently learned this the hard way after their wedding photos – shared on the online forum Reddit – sparked a heated debate and left social media users divided.
The photo in question shows the bride and groom posing with a woman on either side of them.
The bride looked radiant in a sparkling white wedding gown, while the groom donned a sharp royal blue suit.
However, it wasn’t the couple’s attire that caught people’s attention – it was the outfits worn by the two women by their sides.
The woman on the right wore a tartan mini skirt paired with a crop top and a long-sleeve cardigan, raising a few eyebrows.
But it was the woman on the left who truly stole the spotlight, wearing a revealing light blue dress with a plunging neckline and a hemline that was noticeably short.
To top it off, she accessorised the outfit with chunky white trainers, sparking even more discussion.
The wedding, at a luxury resort in South East Asia, was attended by the guests.
The photo was captioned: “Interesting wedding attire at a luxury resort,” and it quickly gained traction online, with many rushing to the comments to share their opinions.
“All that work the lady in the blue dress put into her outfit, and then you find out you could have just worn chunky trainers and clubwear,” commented one person.
A second added: “The first photo is so awkward, aside from the guests’ attire.
“It looks like the wife is trying to be as close to her husband – yet, he’s pulling away?
“At least, that’s how the photo comes across.”

Whilst someone else added: “If you wouldn’t wear it to your grandmother’s funeral, don’t wear it to a wedding.”
However, someone else thought there could have been a reason behind it by writing: “I kind of get the feeling this was possibly a ‘themed’ wedding.”
And another added: “I’m guessing that the sneakers were temporary. Probably took off a pair of really tall heels thinking her shoes wouldn’t be in the pics.
