Love Island fans convinced they’ve spotted filming blunder as they insist ‘the dates don’t match up’

LOVE Island fans are convinced they’ve spotted a filming blunder, insisting ‘the dates don’t match up’.

ITV2 rushed to social media after noticing a mismatch in the timeline of events in Monday’s All Stars episode.

Curtis Pritchard’s birthday, which took place on Saturday, was featured, but the eviction of Tina Stinnes, 29, and Chuggs Wallis, 26, aired in the same episode.

This happened despite the public vote not opening until Sunday.

Viewers pointed out the inconsistency online, with one writing: “Doesn’t make sense curtis bday was the 8th and they got dumped that day and we voted on the 9th.”

Someone replied, “Wait what,” while another put, “Yeah,” with a gasping emoji.

In the installment, Ekin-Su and Curtis, Harriett and Ronnie, as well as Chuggs and Tina were all up for eviction.

Host Maya Jama gathered the islanders at the fire pit before announcing that Tina and Chuggs had been dumped from the villa after receiving the least amount of viewer votes.

The pair said their goodbyes to their fellow islanders before exiting the villa.

On whether she had any regrets after getting the axe, Tina said: “No, I think I went in there with my heart on my sleeve and that’s something I haven’t done in a long time — I really put myself out there.

“I wanted to go in there like that and I’m glad I did — I stayed true to myself and went with how I felt, always.

Asked about her favourite moment, she added: “Everything! I had the best time in there. I love every single one of them and being around them every day was my highlight!”

Chuggs was questioned about whether he expected to get the boot, to which he replied: “Yeah 100% expecting it, I was the only one that wasn’t in a ‘love couple’, so it made complete sense and would have felt wrong for anyone else to go home.

“After being in there, you can really feel how the other couples’ connections are and I would have hated to have shortened their journey in any way.

“I went in there with all the right intentions, gave it a shot and my time had come so I was very content with leaving.

“I was surprised that Ronnie and Harriett were voted safe before Ekin-Su and Curtis, though.”

And on the subject of him and Tina continuing things on the outside, he said: “Tina and I are very much friends, she’s an absolutely lovely girl, she literally lives down the road from me, so no doubt I’ll be bumping into her.”

Series seven star Chuggs, 26, had only entered All Stars the week before as a bombshell, arriving alongside Samie Elishi.

Tina had previously been coupled up with Scott Thomas, but he refused to progress their coupling before quitting the show.

Reacting to the news of Tina and Chuggs getting the chop on social media, one fan wrote: “TBH, chuggs didn’t belong here. And Tina got played. So it’s long for them.”

A second posted: “This season has been so predictable, everyone knew Tina & chuggs were always going to be dumped.”

“Ekin su, please stop the drama you know you are not leaving,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “Interesting the way Tina only friendzoned Chuggs as soon as they walked out of the villa lol.”
