Britain’s Got Talent 2025 updates: Audience hurls abuse at BGT judge as new season starts today

BRITAIN’S Got Talent is kicking off its new season today which promises to be full of drama and action.

At one point of the show, the production team had to stop filming when the audience hurled abuse at judges.

Among the boos and repeated insults directed at Simon Cowell were yells of, “You old fart” when he criticised any performers.

BGT has also had a huge shake-up behind the scenes with a new face joining the panel.

Social media megastar KSI will be stepping in as a guest judge for the first few episodes.

The show returns to ITV for its 18th series at 7pm tonight and is set to be the longest-running season in the show’s history.
