THE HORNY housewives of Inverness buy the some of largest vibrators in Britain, a study out today has revealed.
Researchers at Lovehoney analysed sales of dildos and vibrators over the past year to find out who was buying the ‘biggest’ and the ‘smallest’.
It found that ladies in Inverness were among the biggest buyers of large ‘penis-shaped’ lovetoys.
Coming behind only Hereford and Jersey, women in Inverness liked an average size of 7.1 inches.
According to most studies, the average length of an erect member in the UK is 5.17 inches.
The study also found that women in Harrow in northwest London bought the smallest sex toys, averaging 6.49 inches.
One lady from Hereford, who asked to remain anonymous, said she was a ‘big fan’ of vibrators.
She said, however, that although size was ‘important’, she was more excited about the shape, adding: “Size is important, but it’s not everything.

A spokesman for Lovehoney said today (Fri): “We found that Hereford is leading the charge when it comes to buying the biggest dildos in the UK, with an average of 7.13 inches.
“Jersey, Inverness, Twickenham and Hemel Hempstead also all demanded at least seven inches.
“In Harrow we saw the smallest, with the average size 6.49 inches.”
Ladies who liked it large were from:
- Hereford – 7.13 inches
- Jersey – 7.12 inches
- Inverness – 7.10 inches
- Twickenham – 7.09 inches
- Hemel Hempstead – 7.07 inches
And those who liked it smaller were from:
- Harrow – 6.49 inches
- Kensington & Chelsea – 6.53 inches
- Dundee – 6.59 inches
- Barnet – 6.61 inches
- Carlisle – 6.63 inches
