Shoppers rush to bargain supermarket as Kinder launches new ‘crunchy’ snack that chocolate lovers can’t wait to try
EXCITED shoppers are rushing to a beloved bargain supermarket to satisfy their chocolate cravings after Kinder launched a new snack.
Those with a sweet tooth have been left thrilled with the launch of Kinder’s latest treat which is filling up the B&M shelves.
The Kinder Crunchy Cookies are made up of a mixture of milk and white chocolate chips and come in a pack of eight.
The new sweet treat is even being advertised as the perfect accompaniment to a cold glass of milk.
A pack of eight cookies is scanning at tills for just £2.99.
Many shoppers have already marched down to their nearest B&M to help empty the shelves.
Many more have already made plans with family and friends to head down to the bargain supermarket soon.
One happy customer said: “Had these and love them… should’ve got some more today.”
A second said: “I need to visit asap.”
As a third excited shopper even begged her pal: “Give me them now.”
B&M already sell a range of Kinder products from the iconic Kinder Bueno bars to the Surprise Eggs and Happy Hippos.
Last November, Kinder chocolatiers again hit the headlines when Kinder Bueno ice cream returned to UK supermarket shelves with two new flavours.
Ferrero UK has revealed the company is launching two brand-new flavours: Kinder Bueno Classic and Kinder Bueno White.
The two new ice cream cones are filled with smooth hazelnut ice cream with a classic Kinder Bueno chocolate sitting at the top.
With a crunchy hazelnut-cocoa core the ice cream is wrapped in a crispy wafer cone with a hazelnut and cocoa tip – and is decorated with crispy cocoa sprinkles.
And with Easter on the horizon, chocolate lovers are gearing up to pick their favourite tasting egg.
Many supermarkets and stores have special deals running on eggs, including Cadbury and Nestle, as well as Lindt.
There are also multi-buy offers which can offer better value if you’re looking to stockpile – but where is best?
Aldi and Savers are selling Cadbury’s at knocked down prices whereas if Lindt gold bunnies are top of your wishlist then Asda, Tesco and Morrisons all have a variety of offers available.
Asda are also offering a mega four-egg deal for less than £12.
Cadbury Crunchie, Creme Egg, Caramel, Caramilk and Twirl are all up for grabs.
It’s not just Cadbury’s treats though, there are a mixture of Nestle, Thorntons, Rowntree’s and Mars favourites thrown in for good measure.
How to save money at Easter
Sun Savers Editor Lana Clements shares her tips on how to save cash at Easter...
Stock up on eggs – The best value Easter eggs typically sell out by the time the long weekend comes around so by in advance and stash in a cupboard so that you don’t get tempted to nibble.
Cut entertaining costs – If you are hosting family or friends over the holiday, consider asking them to bring a dish such as dessert, or a couple of bottles to cut costs. Use a price comparison site to find the lowest prices on the food and any other decorations or gifts that you need. Try PriceRunner or Trolley.co.uk.
Plan ahead – School holidays combined with gifts can make Easter a pricey time of year, especially if you have children. Create a budget ahead of time and look for ways to keep it in check.
Flash sales – Make a list of what you need for Easter and look out for flash sales or promotions from supermarkets on items that you need.
Cashback – Use cashback sites to get a little kick back on any spending that you are doing. Try Topcashback or Quidco.
