Butlin’s launches £1 day passes for kids with access to rides, waterpark and new £15million indoor gaming attraction
KIDS can visit Butlin’s for just £1 this month, with new cheap day passes being launched.
The new cheap pass can be used at all three of the UK resorts in Skegness, Bognor Regis and Minehead.
The £1 ticket can be booked for up to four kids with one full paying adult, where tickets start from £15.
However, the day pass includes nearly everything inside the park, apart from an overnight stay.
This means access to the Splash Waterworld waterpark which has an indoor pool, rides, slides and flumes.
Guests with a day pass will need to book a two-hour swim slot ahead of time.
If visiting Bognor Regis, this includes access to the new £15million PLAYXPERIENCE indoor attraction, with arcades, escape rooms and mini golf.
Activities also have to be booked ahead of time.
Otherwise at Minehead and Skegness is the SKYPARK which has the UK’s longest swingline.
Unlimited fairground rides and all of the daytime lives shows are included in the day pass.
This means kids can watch Peppa Pig‘s Dance Party as well as the Tots Disco and Skyline Gang show.
New this year is Dino Expo, where kids can “travel back millions of years” and learn about them while “meeting” a baby dinosaur.
Families can visit Skegness and Minehead from 10am to 6pm, or Bognor Regis from 10am to 8pm.
Kids have to be between two and 14 years, and the offer ends on March 27.
Butlin’s first launched day passes back in 2021, which started from £10.
The Sun recently went down to Butlin’s for the new Gladiators event that launched Bognor Regis.
Mum Caroline wrote: “When the throbbing beats of We Will Rock You blasted out across the resort’s hangar-like Studio 36 venue, Henry, 11, Nicholas, seven, and Estella, four, were beside themselves.
“I won’t give too much away but the show is a blast and features lots of knock-about games that get the audience involved. For many, it is all about the meet-and-greet at the end.”
How has Butlin's changed in 40 years?
Mum Catherine Lofthouse has been visiting the parks since the 1980s.
WHEN I was little, my family would head to Butlin’s every July for a week by the sea, whether that was Bognor, Skeggy, Minehead or Pwllheli, which is now a Haven site.
Some of my happiest childhood memories involve visiting the arcade, buying sweets at the tuckshop by the bar or chomping on hot chips while wandering back to our chalet.
I even worked at the Minehead resort as a lifeguard in my teens and travelled back for party weekends while in my twenties.
Nowadays, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to entertainment venues, with different shows going on throughout the day and late into the night.
But in the last decade, there’s been a bit of a turnaround in terms of rebranding and investment in things like the new pool at Bognor Regis and the Skypark at Skegness.
Taking my family to Butlin’s for festive fun is a great way of reliving my childhood memories while making special moments with my own children.
If you do want to stay at Butlin’s without breaking the bank, here is how to do a midweek stay for as little as £40.
