BROOKLYN Beckham has revealed it took him seven times to pass his driving theory test.

The budding Formula E star admits to The Sun that while he passed his practical test for the first time, when it came to remembering the Highway Code, he struggled.

Speaking from Miami ahead of an Evo Sessions’ race against ten other stars, Brooklyn said: “I passed my driving test first time but it was my theory that took me seven times.”

Sheepishly, he added: “Seven, yeah.”

Brooklyn says his mum and dad, David and Victoria Beckham, are terrified he will crash the car during his high speed race.

But while his wife Nicola Peltz- Beckham was also concerned, that faded away when she saw him “looking sexy” in his racing gear.

Brooklyn said: “My dad told me to be careful but it’s something that me and my dad have bonded over over the years.

“We are both into cars and both into racing. He was just keen to say be careful and have fun.  Mum was exactly the same. She was like, ‘Brooklyn be careful but have fun’.”

He continued: “Nicola was a little bit worried, but then she saw me in my race outfit and said I should do it as a job and that I looked really good.

“Yeah she was a bit worried but after I got out of the car she was like ‘you look really sexy’ so maybe I will change careers!”

Admitting he was also concerned about crashing the car during his practice runs, Brooklyn said: “I did some of the training back in the UK but when I was back, my family were actually here in Miami for the first game which was kind of annoying – it was only two days but I was learning the track morning to night time.

“I did about 20 minutes today. I was definitely getting better.  I definitely want to put it on the line tomorrow [on the track] but today I was more worried about crashing the car. Now that I am used to it I am really going to give it my all.”

Despite Miami’s usually sunny weather, Brooklyn seems to have brought a touch of the UK with him to the race track.

Brooklyn said: “It was raining out here this morning but it’s stopped a bit now. We’re not sure what the weather will be tomorrow yet. You know how Miami weather can change.”

He added of his time behind the wheel: “It’s been really amazing. It’s actually really warm and compact. It’s really comfortable, actually, as you go round the track. I’ve been learning a lot. I have always loved racing. I would love to do more.”

When he’s not training on the track, Brooklyn likes to enjoy a more chill life.

Explaining his average day, he said: “I wake up at six as my four dogs wake me up. I feed them. Then I go to the gym, I do an ice bath. If it’s a weekend and I’m not working, sometimes if I am into a TV show I’ll watch a show and then just hang out with my wife and my dogs really.”

As for the future, the budding chef is keen to expand his condiments range having already released hot sauce brand Cloud23.

He said: “I have been working on it for many years and it’s just going to keep getting more condiments. My goal for 2025 is to sell as many bottles of hot sauce as possible and start working on more condiments.”
