BRITAIN’S Got Talent viewers have fumed over a terrifying act that left kids in tears on Saturday night.

Kranthi Drillman was one of the most memorable acts from Saturday night’s round of auditions on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent.

He started off his act by cracking open cans of fizzy drinks using just his teeth, before things were ramped up even further.

Kranthi then stepped his act up a notch as he enlisted the help of head judge Simon as the performed whipped out a sledgehammer.

Simon was repeatedly asked if he was ‘okay’ by the production crew as watermelons and coconuts were carefully placed around him.

Blindfolded auditionee Kranthi then picked up a sledgehammer and proceeded to smash the fruit placed around Simon.

After the audition Simon – who looked shell-shocked as the fruit was smashed around him – remarked: “That was the scariest thing I swear to god I have ever done.”

But Simon wasn’t the only one who found the act scary, with viewers in their droves taking to social media to share how the horrifying performance left them quaking in their boots, and their children in tears.

“Absolutely terrified my 8 year old daughter. Poor child was crying her eyes out. Started fun enough but that was insane,” penned one person on X.

“And that’s meant to be entertainment ?? Shocking,” said another.

A third person then added: “Just saw a clip this morning of this so called talent! I think this show has lost the plot.

“Didn’t find this entertaining at all and for children watching the show…..well I’m lost for words to be honest.

“This is why I don’t watch this programme anymore!!! Absolute Rubbish!!!!!”

While a fourth wrote: “Just catching up on #BGT and that Sledgehammer guy was horrifying.

And a fifth said: “Sledgehammer guy on #BGT completely mad. They shouldn’t have broadcast this.”

This comes after the first episode of the new series was hit with a slew of complaints last month.

Britain's Got Talent most complained about moments in 2025 so far

The new season of BGT only catapulted onto our screens last month, with only three episodes having aired so far - but despite this, there have already been a slew of complaints about the controversial acts.

In the first episode of the 2025 series, Auzzy Blood left viewers feeling sick to their stomachs when he fed corkscrews through his nose and out of his mouth. 680 people even complained to Ofcom about the act after it left their kids in tears – with this number later updated.

Also in the first episode, an act centred around nudity was hit with a substantial amount of complaints. Akira left viewers open-jawed as he showcased his naked act, with 90 people logging complaints with the regulator.

In the second episode of the new series, viewers slammed The Lazy Generation, a group of daredevil athletes known for their extreme – and painful – stunts. In their audition, they carried out a series of dangerous challenges that left the judges and audience wincing. One shocked fan wrote: What on earth were the producers and judges thinking of putting this dangerous, silly and painful act on TV? I mean kids might try this even though it would be stupid just my opinion anyway.”

Auzzy Blood is one of the acts from the first episode that infuriated viewers.

The Gothic-looking contestant performed a morbid and sickening stunt routine.

Appearing on stage in gothic make-up, the performer held up giant corkscrews to the audience before carrying out his gory stunt.

Feeding the corkscrews through his nose and out his mouth, Auzzy Blood left the studio audience squealing and viewers at home complaining.

It has now been revealed that more than 700 viewers logged complaints to the regulator about the show overall.

771 viewers in total emailed Ofcom about Saturday night’s episode, with the ITV show hit with the staggering number of complaints.

The vast majority of complaints were about Auzzy Blood’s routine – with the number published as 680.

Meanwhile, around 90 of the complainants were about nudity in Akira Ohashi’s routine.

Akira left viewers open-jawed as he showcased his naked act, stripping off in the hilarious moment – although not everyone found it comical.

Ofcom spoke out about the complaints for episode one, with them updating the figure.

An Ofcom representative confirmed: “The vast majority of complaints were about Auzzy Blood’s routine. These are additional complaints to those reported last week, and the cumulative total 828.”
