Kate Cassidy shares unseen pics of Liam Payne as she says she’s ‘grateful for another year’ on her birthday
KATE Cassidy shared unseen photos of Liam Payne as she admitted she was “grateful for another year”.
The influencer took to social media to share photos of her marking her 26th birthday on Tuesday.
The One Direction star died in October last year at the age of 31 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina.
Kate posed with a cupcake with a candle while wearing a skintight baby pink vest top and matching joggers.
She shared a series of throwbacks from special moments she spent with her late boyfriend Liam.
In one photo, Kate and Liam looking loved-up in Paris, while another snap showed the pair at a friend’s wedding in August.
The media personality also shared a photo of them on a swan pedalo during a date night.
Kate wrote: “Thankful for another year, and reflecting on the beauty of 25—it’s a chapter that will always be apart of me. Here’s to 26…”
Just days ago Kate was seen breaking down in tears after she was overwhelmed by memories as she unpacked boxes.
The star shared an emotional video on TikTok where she revealed she had finally opened up some boxes which had memories connected to her late boyfriend.
She had been putting it off, due to the pain she has been feeling following his tragic death just over four months ago.
Whilst unpacking the boxes, Kate revealed she had discovered a yellow gown and white stilettos which she had worn to a wedding with Liam last August.
The discovery made the singer’s grieving girlfriend become emotional as she recalled the special day, and remembered how she had “danced the night away” with Liam.
Choking back the tears, Kate said: “I have just been absolutely dreading opening up these boxes and going through these things because they’re just like the things I had in the last couple of months and weeks with Liam.
“So I’ve really been procrastinating opening these boxes and sorting through these boxes and that’s what I’ve been doing for the past hour, just organising and getting my things together and packing up my stuff.
“And um… [chokes up] I open this box – I’m really trying to pull it together right now – and I found this dress.”
Kate continued: “This dress actually brings me so much peace and comfort because the memory that me and Liam had in this dress was a memory I will never forget.”
Last month, she shared a gift from her best friend of a photo frame filled with a montage of pics of Kate and Liam.
It had the number ‘444’ written in the middle above the initials LP heart KC.
Kate was holding the present in front of red roses on the mantel piece.
It marked her first Valentine’s Day without Liam following his tragic death in October.
The couple had been together for two years before the One Direction star fell to his death at a hotel in Argentina.
Kate spoke about his death for the first time in an interview with The Sun.
Fighting back tears, she spoke to her followers to thank them for their reaction to the story.
She said: “I’m not the only one grieving right now, I know he impacted so many of you guys and he really did love his fans.
“I just wanted to come on here and say thank you so much for all the kind words once again that have been sent my way because it does not go unnoticed or unseen.
“As I navigate this next chapter of my life without Liam, it’s just, I don’t even know what to say. It’s really kind seeing the support and love that has been sent my way.
“Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
