Celebrity Big Brother fury as viewers claim Mickey Rourke should have left BEFORE Chris Hughes row
CELEBRITY Big Brother fans are furious that Mickey Rourke wasn’t kicked out BEFORE his row with Chris Hughes.
The Hollywood star was “threatening and aggressive” towards his housemate in scenes yet to air on ITV.
The 72-year-old had already made JoJo Siwa and Patsy Palmer cry, as well as received a formal warning over a homophobic slur during his six days in the house.
One viewer said: “Incredibly shortsighted of #CBBUK to leave Mickey in there after his comments made towards JoJo. You had a chance to remove him and didn’t.“
Another added: “They should have removed Mickey immediately, people have been chucked out for a lot less.”
Announcing his departure on Saturday night, a spokesman for Celebrity Big Brother said: “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.”
Mickey’s disagreement with Chris during a task led to his early exit from the house, but no physical altercation is believed to have taken place.
The Hollywood actor was ITV’s highest paid housemate of the series.
It’s currently unclear whether he will still receive his £500,000 fee.
