It's no secret that weddings are expensive. In 2024, the average cost of a wedding in the US is $33,000 — a 14% increase from 2023's $29,000, Zola, an online wedding registry, planner, and retailer, reported.
With these costs, many couples are choosing to rethink their wedding-day priorities, forgoing tradition in the name of comfort and cost.
