Marathon Petroleum to pay $86M to settle 4 lawsuits

FINDLAY — Oil refinering and marketing company Marathon Petroleum Corp. has agreed to pay $86 million to settle four lawsuits brought about after a January, 2016, fire at its Galveston Bay refinery in Texas.

The daughter of an elderly Toledo man who died after being robbed and knocked to the ground filed a wrongful-death lawsuit Thursday against his assailant and the senior living complex where the incident occurred.

Kenneth B. Krakoff (1925-2017)

The Toledo Blade 

Kenneth B. Krakoff, a dentist for almost 70 years who maintained a West Toledo practice into 2015, died Wednesday at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. He was 92.
