It is quite the quagmire we have found ourselves in as a result of the enforcement of immigration regulations by ICE. We should not be fooled into thinking these confrontations are simply between Trump’s ICE agents and the local communities harboring alleged illegal immigrants. These confrontations are symptomatic of a far bigger dispute between two differing ideologies regarding immigration, one favoring open borders and the other desiring strict enforceable regulations.
