The Toledo Symphony will head to Broadway with a special collaboration with Toledo-born actress Sara Sheperd on Saturday. Sheperd, the star of the Carole King musical Beautiful, will lead the orchestra in performing songs from Les Misérables, Funny Girl, Cabaret, and more. According to a description, the event invites one and all to “experience the emotion, drama, and excitement of Broadway’s greatest moments, all in one thrilling evening of music.” The performance begins at 8 p.m. at the Toledo Museum of Art’s Peristyle, 2445 Monroe St. For more information, visit artstoledo.com.
