The Toledo Opera will present its production of L’Elisir D’Amore this weekend. The show, sung in Italian with English subtitles and composed originally by Gaetano Donizetti in 1832, follows the courtship of Nemorino and Adina, and the comedy that ensues when Nemorino takes a love potion from a medicine man. The show will have two stagings, one on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and one on Sunday at 2 p.m. David Walton and Marnie Breckinridge will star as the main couple and J. Ernest Green will conduct.
