The Great Lakes are one of our most precious natural resources, and they are in danger, especially Lake Erie. The Western Lake Erie Basin includes nearly five million acres, three million of which are cropland. The rivers feeding Lake Erie include the St. Mary’s, St. Joseph, and Maumee. This includes portions of northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio.
