Lukaku: Everton form thanks to freedom. Do Belgium tactics suit me?

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku says his success this season is thanks to the "freedom" he's been granted.

Lukaku is delighted with the role he's been given by Blues manager Roberto Martinez.

The striker has been criticised for his performances with Belgium.

He told Sportweekend, "I do everything on instinct and I can actually score with the head, with the left, with right, from afar and in the short space. Sometimes I think:.. Is it just me or is it the tactics of Belgium?

"At some point I will show what I do here also for the Red Devils."

On criticism, he adds: "It is inherent in football. If you are mentally weak and suffering because of your performance at your club, then it makes no sense (to worry about Belgium).

"My club remains the most important thing. If I do not play well at Everton, then I do not get selected for the Red Devils."
