Roma president Pallotta: I apologise to fans

Roma president James Pallotta has apologised to fans after their Coppa Italia defeat to Spezia.

With coach Rudi Garcia under pressure, Roma again collapsed against Spezia last night.

"On behalf of myself and the club I apologize to the fans for today's match.

"My congratulations to Spezia," tweeted Pallotta last night.

Along with Garcia, the result also heaps pressure on Pallotta over his management of the club.
