Roma make approach to Lippi - as soon as Coppa final whistle blew

Roma have made a move for Marcello Lippi.

Vocegiallorossa.it says Roma approached Lippi as soon as the final whistle blew on fulltime after their Coppa Italia defeat to Spezia.

Lippi is keen to jump back into management and is open to taking the Roma job.

Roma chiefs know they must move quickly, as city rivals Lazio are also interested in the ex-Italy coach.

Along with Lippi, Francesco Guidolin is also in the frame to succeed Garcia.
