Ex-Real Madrid GM Sacchi: There's no team culture there

Former Real Madrid GM Arrigo Sacchi is critical of their team ethic.

Sacchi feels Rafa Benitez is yet to find his place in relation to the squad's senior stars.

"They are a group of stars, but they are not always a team," said Sacchi. "Based on the individual rather than the collective playing quality, and the coach has to make the most of this without affecting the leadership of the players.

"It is a group of stars, perhaps the best in the world, not always able to become a team."

Sacchi added: "The connection between the fans and Benitez has not yet emerged, nor with Florentino Perez."
