Guangzhou Evergrande coach Scolari: I could've taken Barcelona job

Guangzhou Evergrande coach Luiz Felipe Scolari admits he's had the chance to take over Barcelona.

Guangzhou Evergrande meet Barca in the Club World Cup semifinals on Thursday.

The former Chelsea manager revealed: "Sandro Rosell was Barcelona president (sic, then vice president) and I was the coach of Portugal.

"I could have discussed it and accepted an offer from Barcelona but I had a two-year contract and could not.

"It would have been a total lack of ethics. I passed and that's life."
