Allegri happy to give Juventus extra day off

Juventus players won't be back in training until December 29.

Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri afforded his men an eight-day holiday, enabling the Bianconeri to relax and fully recharge their batteries ahead of the start of 2016.

Preparations for the team's opening game of the New Year, the visit of Hellas Verona to Juventus Stadium, will begin when the players return to training on the afternoon of Tuesday 29 December.

Juve signed for the break with victory over Carpi last week.
