Champions League clubs to be given Friday night fixtures by Premier League

The Premier League is considering scheduling Friday night fixtures to allow clubs competing in the Champions League the following week an extra day of preparation.

The Daily Mirror is reporting the scheduling change will be dependent on negotiations with television broadcasters, but is designed to ensure English clubs are given the best possible chance to excel on the European stage.
