Josh.ai’s Josh Edge Remote Now Shipping

Josh.ai has reimagined the power of handheld remote control with the release of Josh Edge. The launch follows a successful beta program, which provided early access to select dealers who helped shape the user experience through hands-on testing and feedback. Insights from the program informed final refinements, validated the product’s market readiness, and reinforced Josh.ai’s belief that its partners should be involved early in the product development process.

Josh Edge represents a natural extension of Josh.ai’s simplicity-first philosophy, offering an intuitively designed handheld companion that blends tactile hard-button control with the potential of AI. At the center of the device is a tap-to-talk voice button, which enables users to give contextually aware commands across their smart home and access JoshGPT for intelligent assistance across any topic.

The lower portion of the remote delivers a familiar universal control experience with a multi-directional navigation pad and dedicated AV buttons, supporting platforms such as Apple TV, Roku, Kaleidescape, Dish, Xfinity, and more. The top of the remote features six personalizable buttons that can control anything in the home. These swappable and customizable controls can be configured in the Josh App to adjust lighting, music, shades, fireplaces, and other devices, as well as run scenes like “Movie Time,” or even act as shortcuts to favorite channels and streaming services. With almost 90 custom buttons to choose from, dealers are able to tailor Josh Edge to each room and their clients’ needs.
