True to Albert Einstein’s words, “Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.” Dr. Jessica Mack is leading the way in transforming lives through her food blog, ‘More Than Meatless Monday’. She uses the platform for sharing her recipes while demonstrating her amazing cooking skills.
Dr. Jessica is a certified personal trainer, Occupational Therapist, lifestyle expert, content creator, chef, and food blogger. She holds a degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University, in Hamden, CT, and a Master of Science Degree in counseling. Jessica also received a post-graduate certificate in Educational Leadership and Policy from Long Island University in Brookville, NY. She was awarded her Doctoral Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Jessica avoided eating meat beginning at the age of five because she was ‘picky’. This motivated her to start to look for healthy and filling foods (other than peanut butter sandwiches). Jessica collected any recipe that aligned with her needs from the books to the magazines throughout her college life.
Jessica worked as an Occupational Therapist for twenty years. Her strong passion and her love for her work, coupled with her professional background, made it easy for her to work with people of all ages and abilities. Though she was passionate about her job, a significant illness affected her ability to engage in various activities, and she made the difficult decision to retire from practicing as an Occupational Therapist at a young age.
Dr. Jessica Mack found a new interest in creating recipes, learning food photography, and styling food. She experienced many challenges and obstacles in her life, but she never stopped pursuing her dreams. An Occupational Therapist turned food blogger and chef, Jessica has perfected her craft onto meatless recipes. Her hobby of creating recipes for meatless meals started when she was virtually bedridden.
Most people love sharing her recipes as they are looking for ways to incorporate meatless meals into their weekly plans. Dr. Jessica Mack’s primary aim is to share the recipes so that the plant-based meals can be served more than just on “meatless Monday”.
Jessica’s passion project is her website, where she demonstrates how easy it is to prepare plant-based/meatless meals. She shows her amazing cooking skills by sharing her healthy lifestyle. It does not matter if a reader is a vegetarian or simply wants to reduce his/her meat intake; Jessica’s meals are so delicious, no one will miss the meat.
Dr. Jessica Mack contributed to Dr. Oz’s blog, including the sharecare.org website, and published several articles. She also is available for radio appearances, and spoke on Long Island’s oldest radio show, WGBB, as well as on Sirius XM’s The Doctor’s Show.
It is important to note that Dr. Jessica is media trained, and is available for a live cooking show/class, podcast, or TV segment to demonstrate her cooking skills. She has made numerous media appearances, including The Dr. Oz Show, The Katie Couric Show, and The Lifestyle Today Show.
To further her expertise, Dr. Jessica has recently completed her culinary program through the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.
