Democrat Jay Jones, who fantasized about killing Republican and children, wins attorney general in Virginia
Jay Jones, the Democrat who ignored numerous calls to drop out after fantasizing about murdering Republicans and their children, has won the race for attorney general in Virginia, the state’s top cop.

Jones, who collected 50.9% of the vote, ousted Republican incumbent Jason Miyares, who received 49.1 % and had been endorsed by President Donald Trump.
Journalist Benny Johnson highlighted the murderous texts from Jones, and said, “Democrats in Virginia saw these texts from Jay Jones and decided ‘yup, he has my vote!'”

Unearthed text messages Jones wrote in 2022 about former Virginia House Speaker Todd Gilbert has the Democrat saying: “Three people two bullets … Gilbert, hitler, and pol pot … Gilbert gets two bullets to the head.”
“Spoiler: put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know and he receives both bullets every time.” Pol Pot was the notorious head of Cambodia’s murderous Khmer Rouge regime.

He also targeted Gilbert’s wife and children, indicating: “Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy. … I mean do I think Todd and Jennifer are evil? And that they’re breeding little fascists? Yes.”
Jones expressed regret for his remarks, saying: “The rhetoric has no place on our landscape, no place in our discourse and again, for that, I am deeply, deeply sorry. I should have never done it. It’s very embarrassing to me and certainly I regret it.”

“The bottom line is that the language is unacceptable. And again, I deeply, deeply, deeply wish that it hadn’t happened. I have spent the entire day really regretting all of it, and certainly wish that it hadn’t happened and I’m sick to my stomach when I read those words.”
President Trump called Jones a “Radical Left Lunatic,” for making “SICK and DEMENTED jokes, if they were jokes at all, which were not funny, and that he wrote down and sent around to people, concerning the murdering of a Republican Legislator, his wife, and their children.”
