Video: Latest episode of ‘The Reem’ goes behind the scenes of Werdum fight, hotel fire

Watch the fifth episode in season 4 of “The Reem,” which continues unprecedented access to Overeem’s legendary journey. 

UFC heavyweight contender Alistair Overeem recently released the 5th episode of his online docu-series, "The Reem." Overeem has shared the intimate details of his professional fighting life for the past 7 years. The first-of-its-kind show has given Overeem's fans a behind-the-scenes look at his Strikeforce title reign, K-1 championship run, and current UFC title pursuit.

The newest episode follows Alistair as he prepares for his rubber match with Fabricio Werdum at UFC 213 in Las Vegas. Alistair is accompanied by his usual cast of characters including striking coach Beji Zimmerman, BJJ coach Azad Soufi, and head coach Joakim Enberg. The episode also captures Alistair's reaction to his hotel catching fire just days before he is scheduled to fight Werdum.

Overeem survived a third-round knockdown to win a majority decision over Werdum, winning the trilogy 2-1.
