Nutcracker Christie banned after Celtic vs Rangers derby overheats
January 7 – Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie has been slapped with a ban after being found guilty of grabbing Rangers’ Colombian forward Alfredo Morelos by the genitals during the recent derby between Scotland’s two rival Glasgow giants.
Christie grabbed Morelos in the groin area during Rangers’ high-profile 2-1 win at Celtic Park on December 29.
He was subsequently charged with violent conduct by the Scottish Football Association and a fast-track tribunal found him guilty,
