Research suggests parental depression is liked to worse childhood mental health

Washington [US], December 5 (ANI): The findings of a new study show that children who live with a parent who suffers from depression are more likely to develop depression and do not achieve educational milestones.

The findings of the study were published in the open-access journal 'PLOS ONE'.

Maternal depression is a known risk factor for depression in children and is associated with a range of adverse child health and ed
